I currently use a Gardner crash bag , let's just say I'm not that impressed
I purchased a trakker cover to increase the thermal rating
This helps , but I'm still struggling
I'm toying with the idea of buying a 365 but considering I have a new cover , was thinking
of getting the big snooze smooth bag
I had a big snooze years ago and I can't remember getting cold
Basically is the current big snooze warmer than the Gardner crash bag
I'd prefer a bit more volume in the padding as well
Any help appreciated

I had a big snooze and the cover and never got cold through winter including frozen lakes and snow. The pair of them together are heavy though. I wriggle about in bed so the cover used to slip off quite frequently in the night, for these two reasons I got rid and bought a sleep system.

I've gone full circle , I just can't find a light comfortable sleep system 😂

I bought the non memory foam Nash SS3 5 season. It's lighter in 5 season mode than the Wychwood tactical and Big Snooze and cover it replaced and far more comfortable.

I've looked at it myself , the trouble is being able to do a night on one in the tackle shop

I had the big snooze and snooze 2 gave them both away they where ok but just not a patch on my Wychwood morpheus 4 which I've now had for several years and use it almost all year round. My Morpheus 7 comes out literally 3-4 times a year.

Sadly neither of these superb sleeping bags are available. The Gardner gets a good write up but you don't like it the 365 may not be what it was but I've not heard a bad thing about it.

I'm not surprised you're cold the crash bag is definitely a summer bag. It's more suited to keeping you cool on a hot night.

The big snooze is a fair bit warmer but you still might need a cover with the current weather.

Been looking at the Nash sleep systems , I may take a look at the
fortis bag as well
I use a thermorest sim and trakker bed chair currently
Is the fortis bag warm enough ?

Think I'm swaying back to the 365 at least I know I can take out a section if it get to hot
And put it back in and rely on it being warm enough

I've got the latest 365 bag and it is brilliant, it is heavy though if that bothers you.

I've got a big snooze and it's no good for this weather, even with a thermal cover. I woke up a couple of times shivering in the night and now only use it in summer/autumn. I got an Avid Thermafast 5 free with a spend at TFT and it's a totally different level, much thicker and warmer.

I'd like the fortis for weight , but is it any good?
I don't even mind bunging a cover over the top when it gets proper cold
The 365 looks like it'll be the best all round but heavy
I'd imagine I could leave a layer at home during the warmer months
I guess it comes down to quality
Is the fortis good enough ? Is the compact suitable for a trakker super lite
Are the zips any good?

The online videos of the products are so poor

Ordered the 365
I feel I can use it without one layer for the summer which will
reduce the weight
And feel the extra weight is worth it for the comfort in the winter
Both the trakker and fortis YouTube adds are terrible, making it hard to decide

The 365 is a great bag, and you'll rarely need the inner, probably mid November to early March only. It is a very warm bag with just the single outer layer.

I didn't consider the duvet as my crash bag from Gardner wasn't to my liking
The lower zip kept coming off, and a lack of securing points made it a pain in the butt

The bag arrived today , I don't think I'll get cold🤣
I've removed the inner section , maybe because I've never done it before
But I found it quite difficult to remove , not looking forward to putting it back
I do like how the top section is long enough to cover my head and the foot section
Allows a bit of movement
First impressions are good

i keep the inner cover unbuttoned anyway, like another blanket inside the bag i love it.
the thermal cover is a nice touch also, good for under the stars fishing as it keeps the condensation down.
