Today one of our old forum members passed away.
Colin was a larger than life character who was always game for a laugh and a bit of banter but , could sometimes get into forum bother and end up serving a ban.
He leaves behind a loving family and a whole host of memories.
Rest in Peace my Friend.

such sad news,I run the jag selling page on Facebook and helped him resolve a problem he had on there....he was in hospital at the time, R.I.P colin

I am so upset Colin was such a lovely bloke
we have both been having treatment and keeping each others spirits up chatting and sending each other jokes until his cancer was deemed inoperable and he went downhill fast about 2 weeks ago he stopped talking and a family member asked for people to not communicate with him directly
there are no words life can be so unfair and cruel Rest in Peace mate

Some might remember his original username of Cougan. I actually met him on here and we did a few foreign trips together. We ended up falling out a bit but recently made amends and I was only chatting to him a couple of weeks ago. Very sad news. RIP mate.

Horrible news. I've fished and blown the froth off a few with Colin. An angler of all species, Karlos will no doubt recall him trout fishing the far margin with choddies

Yes, remember the name, he was sponsored by cotswold rods for a while I believe. Bought and sold a few bits from him over the years and bumped into him in my local tackle shop at times.

Got the news from his daughter Hannah yesterday.
Fished with Colin a few times and worked with him at Cotswold Rods for a while.
He was a lovely bloke.
Stubborn sometimes, but extremely funny with his sarcastic humor!
