Has anybody had any joy in contacting Dymag recently, i'm interested in purchasing their stalker landing net and requested a brochure but have not heard anything from them. Thanks Gerald.

Can't help with contact with Dymag, but I enquired direct to Harrison about getting a reverse tapered landing net handle - basically a Dymag one.
They said they're so busy rolling carbon for rods and other stuff the won't be making any landing net handles other than the aviator or torrix poles for some time to come.

I would give up on contacting Dymag. Someone mentioned on here, no details but due to personal reasons he wasn't doing any work activity for the foreseeable future
Korda are also bringing a net out soon.

Peanuts compared to an Edward Barder net, now one of those is a mind blower. A few went for £1,700 a piece some years back. A second hand landing net handle went for £700

Mass produced? Tat? Delusional on both counts, I've owned defiant and jag stainless and a dymag net, if any of these are over rated over priced it's the latter.

Had stainless and prolite black,all reels are mass produced aren't they.It was a tongue in cheek comment by the way as I knew someone would bite

I'd say they probs already are collectors items mate. You hardly ever see them come up for sale. I'd love to know what they'd go for now he's stopped as I have a spare that would go up for sale if it's silly money.

That's a decent price. How long ago was that if you dont mind me asking? I have ebay alerts set to tell me when dymag stuff comes up and not seen a net in bloody ages.

I had 4 storm poles made by Dymag about 15 years ago. To help keep the weight down on my pioneer.
They are really thin and light but hard as nails. Kept in a garge that has water on the floor most of the year.
The damp can give stainless a run for its money. Yet the screws work fine still. Have used them with a tarp as a windbreak during lockdown. As banksticks in the water in france. And now the long ones on my tempest 100T if I feel the need.

I have the stalker set 3 9ft rods with extensions and stalker net with extensions and bag. it keeps going through my mind to sell and then I calm myself down that I won't ever get another set. I do not use it that much now because of the waters i fish but you cant beat playing a thirty on 2.25lb test curves

There was a pair of 3 piece dymag stalkers on ebay the other wk. I was quite tempted to buy them just for the hell of it but i would never use them so didnt bother bidding. They went for £440 in the end so a bit of a bargain.

what 2 piece net would be equivalent to the dymag stalker net?? I have a jrc 2 piece one I use with my 9ft rods but like to buy nice quality gear

Harrison also do a nice 2 piece handle.
Fortunately I've got 3 dymag mk2 nets (one 2 piece) , got them all second hand before he stopped making them, would love a second 2 piece one but I think it's going to be silly money from now on for them.

I've been really impressed with the Nash Black ops one I bought recently. Quite incredible how small it packs down, but light and strong.
My only concern is I might lose half of one of the arms, so might buy a spare just in case 🙂.
Using it with 9ft rods too without the extension works well

not that i own a set of 2.25 dymags but i do have a set of mk1 2.25 powermesh and getting a fish of that size on them is brilliant even in less than open water, just need to have faith once they get hooped over.
recently brought a couple of 2.5 11ft Baby Ballista for when i may need a little more umpth but i wont be parting with the 2.25's.
shame you have to go down the custom route for lower TC and that alot of these firms are disappearing.
i wonder if dymag will return
