The time has come to retire my old basic trakker stove!
So the question is the new design (square one) from ridgemonkey reliable? as I know the 1st ones had a lot of problems!
Or should I go for the bulin t4 is it? That seems to get very good reviews?

Used the T4 for the past 6yrs Got the Mini Quad on an impulse had it about 3 weeks & it went piper Alpha on me save your money & buy the T4

Get the Bulin T4 much better stove . I took a chance or the new supposedly improved ridgemonkey quad connect mini stove kit and on the prime head the middle part the flame comes out from fell of took it back to the tackle box and they said they had around 5 returned that had done the same thing aswell

You could buy a couple of bulin's for the price of the ridgemonkey. My mate kept looking at the ridgemonkey and I managed to talk him around to the bulin and he's as happy as I am with mine.

Pretty conclusive so far cheers guys looks like I'll save a few ££s too!
Had my Bulin T4 for at least 5 years now, possibly longer and I absolutely love it. I brought another one last year just incase this one went wrong, having had it for as long as I have I thought it was only a matter of time (had stoves not see out a year before) but it's still going strong and haven't used the 2nd one yet.
Just searching for the best deal on the bulin are the ones on Amazon that are identical the actual bulin ones? Looks that way in the pics,but doesn't actually say bulin in the description!

I bought the Tentock one of Amazon, it's a Bulin. If you look at the photo's the one showing the igniter has Bulin written on it.

I have a very rare item. An original quad connect that hasn't caused me a single issue since owning it. I've also got a T4 that I've had for years. If the T4 dies then I'd buy another one tomorrow. If the ridgemonkey dies, I er won't. Says it all really.

Personally, id buy a stove from a company that actually makes stoves and camping cookware and has a proven track record for doing so, not a company that makes almost everything badly and is renowned for burning people's bivvies down
I genuinely cant understand why people would even consider paying so much for something that if they are honest with themselves, know is overpriced junk and likely to be still be the worst possible option, even if it only cost a fiver

Bulin T4 for me.
I actually have 2 stoves, a TFG Thermolite which was my stove for a few years and is now my spare, but the Bulin is my goto first choice every time.

Not that rare, coz ive got a set too. Never had any issues with mine either. If and when they give up the ghost, id buy a Bulin. But as they're working fine now, i hope thats a long way off.
