According to Bristol Angling, the receiver is £241.99 reduced to £219.99 and out of stock. As a rule the "heads" are usually similar price with alarms. (In fact, I see they are same price)
2 alarms and receiver, £549.99
3 alarms and receiver, £689.99
4 alarms and receiver, £839.99
But.....have they been released yet or is it a false advert?
just also found Todber is advertising them for same price.
Only bought a set of R3's myself this year to replace my aging Nash Stainless steel ones which I have just had repaired so back in use again and do everything I want them to do.
But one has to consider with all this hi tech sensing, what if a fish wants to "run" and gives you an indication that the alarm is set to eliminate as a false alarm, it could result in failing to spot a liner if your watching the water, missing a take or hitting it to late when it could be in snags?
That is why I am happy with just my Nash stainless alarms and a roller that bleeps at any movement. Set up correctly, even on a windy day, they do not give me many false beeps.

Wow if that is right, thats kinda steep for my liking.
Dont get me wrong i dont have a problem with paying for something i like, but that makes them more expensive than delks and foxes.

I had my r3 alarms go wrong and the customer service I had from them put me off Nash for life, was a shame really because I really liked them before that
Those prices below are correct go to Bristol angling they have them on there with all the prices

My experience is very good with their customer service.
I had 1 alarm (r3) that did some strange thing when it got wet from the rain. They just replaced it, no questions asked even when it was a couple of months out warranty.

The only reason Nash could have some market share was because the R3 is a very decent alarm without lots of features at a decent price.
4 years ago I've picked up a set of 4 plus receiver on a 20% discount at a price of £400.

Correct. That's why I won't be blowing the added money to get the R4s now haha. I may of been tempted if they were around 500ish but getting on for 700 is a no go.

From the media advert they launches i thought it was going to be revolutionary, it certainly came across like that. SO i was a little let down when i saw it is just a update R3.
Never used the R3's but have a mate who I fished with in France and they did look and perform well from what i saw and he did rate them a lot.

Totally agree nothing wrong with the r3 why do people get caught up in all this hype I've got to have them because there new it's just the companies re inventing to make more money
in three months there be gathering dust with all the others in the shops

I had 2 sets of R3s and both were shocking , first 3 were al different volumes regardless of settings. Next set the leds packed up first trip. Customer service was as bad as the alarms , never again.

Tempted by the Nash R4's, anyone out there using them?
Selling my TXI Pluses and replacing with something. Had the Delks for about 6 years, wasn't overly impressed with the build quality or the receiver performance but they never let me down. Before the Delks I was a Fox man.

Totally agree. My Wolf Qi have been great in all weathers. Really simple to use too, the build quality is fantastic and so solid.

I bought a brand new set off eBay for £550 after using the R3s for a number of years. Just got out this weekend to try them for the first time and I am very impressed with them. They feel solid and seem much louder than the R3s. The drop back tone is good and you can attach bobbins through a quick release connector that comes with them. Too early to give a long term review but first impressions are positive. Are they better than my R3s? Yes I would say so but if you ask me if they are worth the £690 original price then no. The additional features are definately not worth the extra £300 on top of the R3s in my opinion. If I hadn't got them cheap I would have happily stuck with the R3s.

I think Nash are taking the **** for these, £200 each and they're made in China, they're probably £5-10 each to produce..
I think Nash stuff used to be really good quality, I had one of the original Titans back in the day and a Titan Viper and the quality was second to none.
But now - I think they've really gone downhill, and gotten way more expensive.

I haven't got the R4's but have had the R3's since shortly after their release and they have been spot on. I've no intention of getting the R4's but if I had to get new buzzers I certainly wouldn't be worried about their quality. Whether they're value for money is a personal opinion, but where they're made is pretty much irrelevant from that point of view IMO.

Been using R4s since july very happy with them, only slight niggle is the cases are a bit lose & slide off to easy.

I gave a short review back in March when I first bought them and had used them just once. 9 months on and I still think they are a solid alarm with some great features. I have just had to change the alarm batteries so not too bad but the receiver is still going strong. I do have a slight problem with one alarm in that the line seems to be going over the roller without turning it. Not sure what's going on because it works if you run a piece of paper over it and the other 2 are fine. Maybe some dirt on the roller or something otherwise I will be contacting them under the guarantee. I got the alarms quite a bit cheaper than RRP and my views are still the same. Great alarms but the additional features are not worth the significant price increase over the R3s. Maybe I would think differently if i was fishing flowing water and did more boat work.
