I might be a bit thick here, but I'm going to ask if anyone else knows whether the night LED Brightness on the TXI D can be adjusted?

I can adjust the daytime brightness no problem but, is there a way to make the night LED any brighter. I'm buggered if I can suss it out. I do have a very slight night LED but it's really dim.

Be nice to knock that up a few levels if possible.

Yes I've seen that and other than showing how to adjust day brightness he doesn't show to increase the night setting.

You can adjust the run lite but not the nite lite. As in other thread.

My mistake I just looked at the comments on one of the videos someone asked the same question u have and delkim replied you can't change it on the night marking

I thought so, thanks for clarifying.

Post edit. I'm sure the TXI Plus night led was brighter, but that might be because I had white LED's now I've got green.

Yeah major disappointed with the night marking brightness as well.

As it also effects the dim nitelites too


Should have been factored in perhaps in the 10 years of development 🤪

Can't see the point of the night markings it's just a tarty thing

The brightness of the LEDs has now become a real problem. Too many manufacturers make low-quality goods. And this applies not only to LEDs. I recently renovated my house. And I decided to make the territory near the house brighter in the dark. To make it more pleasant to come home at night after work. But it was not easy to find normal street lighting lamps. I went through all the shops in the neighborhood but found nothing. As a result , I ordered everything on https://trimthatweed.com/best-fence-post-lights/ and overall I'm happy.

Yes still can buy super bright LEDs from Farnell, digikey, eBay etc

As long as your handy with a soldering iron and know your anode from your cathode no problem it's really simple to do, just make sure to get the right bezel size - height and circumference.

I'm sure delkim picked LEDs based on their electrical characteristics to match the life of the alarm. Take the lights on an Xmas tree for example some fail quickly some brighter than others - needs a bit of quality control when selecting.

No only the brightness of the run/latching light.

Not sure if people understand the question here. The LED's are plenty bright enough, however the night mode has them set at a very low level and that isn't adjustable.

Not sure if you can set the brightness and contrast of the light, but I have seen such bulbs that worked in conjunction with a core to adjust the intensity of the light. I bought the lamps on vont.com and have also seen some suggestions for a smart home kit. These lamps can be controlled via a smartphone, and you can select the warmth of the light and the brightness. I think you need to look at what you need as there are a lot of choices. There are ice ribbons that are solar-powered and have no light adjustment. So see for yourself what you get and what you use it for
