Just after some help with my Bulin T4, the spark has ceased to 'spark', can anyone suggest what the problem is and how I can solve it, thanks

The piezo igniter element will be shot. Just use a lighter mate.

You right I could use a lighter but do you know if the ignition can be replaced?

Had it with one once it was a couple of years old, i did look to find a new ignition but i think was almost as cheap to buy a new stove, about £18 from China at the time.

They all go eventually. And it's not only Bulins it happens on the high end primus aswell. Have to resort to rubbing a few sticks together I'm afraid..

With primus you can get a replacement though, albeit at the cost of half a bulin

You can buy a generic ignition for a few quid. Very much doubt it'll fit the housing though so you'll be carrying it like a lighter. One from a lighter may fit the housing but the element (or whatever it's called) is only about an inch long.
For the sake of about 99p I'd buy a lighter and embrace the smell of bbq hand hair

I use welders flint gun shaped like a pistol for either Coleman's or gas there between £3& £5 on eBay no burnt hairs

Try cleaning the end with a bit of wet and dry or something often it will work again

Possibly where the ignitor switch folds the wire has detached? there is a small allen key head on the stainless holder at the base and a press pin that release this from the framework of the stove might be worth taking it off and checking could be a simple solder job, failing that ONE OF THESE

The Piezo on my Bulin hasn't worked from day 1 but I prefer using a lighter anyway....

Mine has hardly worked since the day I bought it. But that has to do with using a Ridge Monkey on it and spilling all fat out of the pan as I turned it all over the cooker. I cleaned it out, but did same again a few times so I don't bother with it. A lighter is just as simple.

Perhaps yours has got a bit of grease/fat etc in it. You know when they have as they are a bit sluggish/stiff and don't click.

You can clean them up as suggested previously but sometimes they just need moving closer to the gas
Mine didn't work when I bought it so used a lighter and then moved the piezo closer and it started working

I have to fiddle with the metal disc the spark hits periodically, but when its not working you can still see a spark in the dark, just not where its supposed to be
