I reluctantly bought the Korda to replace my Fox box that's showing its 20 odd years, and it's actually not as crap as I thought it would be.

Replaced my fox box with a Korda tacklesafe. Excellent bit of kit but you can also go for the NGT copy for like 50% of the price. Now I don't lug 150 hooks/ 200 swivels etc. just all the tackle I need plus a few spares

If your thinking the Nash Station I'm guessing your not interested in scaling down, the Large Fox perhaps, still the best imo.

The boxes with built in sectional lids...once the lids gone it's a bit pointless isn't it...or is that the point.

I saw one on the bank, smaller than it looks and can be used as a table, quite liked it tbh.

ive got the large fox double box had it for prob 20 yrs due a new 1 as its getting old and the plastic is quite warped now

Had the f box many years wend to bits bags then back to f box now use the korda one and the f box for pike gear

all my tackle boxes have come from wickes or b&q, those plastic boxes for putting screws, rawl plugs and stuff in, ironically they look rather like a fox box but cost a lot less, the biggest one cost me £7

I really like the Korda tackle safe, forces you to scale down

Tackle safe is perfect as is imo. Try the tackle box from them if you want deeper maybe?

I've got the Nash table/box thing... its huge... I have realised, if your tackle box needs has its own carry bag, it's probably too big.

Also, a really annoying downside of combining a bivvy table and a tackle box, is when you want anything out the tackle box you have to shift everything off the table first.

Options was limited. I wanted something more compact than the fox. The bits and pieces like swivels, beads etc fit nicely in the lid of the Korda , eliminating the use of the small fox bit boxes that go in the fox box.
And I'm not a fan of boxes to go in boxes and bags to go in a bags.

The only drawback for me at this present time is that I need to house either my braids, floss etc, or scissors, forceps, nut drills, boilie needles etc in a separate pouch

I'd also like to weigh the loaded Korda box against the loaded fox box

Time will tell how long the flip lids on the Korda last, but if they fall to bits within 12 months the box goes back. You got to gamble and try these things out to see if it works for you.

The fox box is the only thing Fox that has lasted me, to the point I acquire a catch phrase “For Fox Sake”

Options limited? It's a plastic box, there are thousands of varieties available. If you look after you kit the korda box will last fine, mine has no signs of wear yet in over a years use

does fox bit boxes fit in the korda tackle box

I now just use the Korda Tackle Safe and the bag that it fits in, that's all you need, any bigger spools (leader material etc) just go in a pocket on the rucksack

Of course it is,Korda,,Cyprinus,,Ridge Monkey are all culprits,and in some cases you have to pre-order and pay for it weeks in advance,,what's that all about

At the moment mate I should think it's to help them with their cashflow

I think that Korda were very nearly on to something with the Tackle Box with their storage idea of turning the boxes on their side so your reading the spine. If they fully committed to that idea, with a box that pretty much just had space to slot in those style packages of end tackle, and then aligned all of their end tackle to fit in those packages, that could be really neat.

Love the Korda Tackle Box.
Takes up half the space in my bag compared to the previous box I had and still managed to fit everything in without issue.
