I'm almost of out of my Kryston Heavy Metal which was the original stuff. I have since ordered from a few places to find the putty is sticky and almost like Plasticine in some cases.
Does anyone make a decent dense type one which is not tacky and sticky now?

I got some ESP stuff after my Kryston ran out, it's pretty good. sticky when warmed up too much but overall not too bad and not waxy like the cheapy stuff.

The rigworx stuff seems decent and not sticky
I noticed the Krsyton wasn't as good as I remember. Tried a few and find Nash best but still not as good as the old Kryston.

I'm sure it's just that nobody includes the same amount of tungsten that Kryston used to originally. I remember the block of putty had some real weight to it when you picked it up, not like that anymore
Been using the Korda stuff and it's fine. Got some cheap stuff and it sticks like **** to a blanket everything it touches even when wet.

I'm not convinced the Bank Tackle tungsten range actually has any tungsten in. Neither the putty or the sinkers have any weight to them at all.
Surprisingly I find the Nash putty and tungsten sinkers to be the best.

Normally some no mark that thinks they've hit the big time because they get 10% off in exchange for whoring themselves out on social media. It's bad enough on Facebook, disappointing to see it seeping in to here now.

Been through this problem myself recently and can really rate the nash cling on stuff - probably the best putty I have ever used.

I have started using the Nash putty, after I ran out of heavy metal a few weeks back, gets a thumbs up from me

Is the Nash stuff not just the Taska putty who took over Kryston,so the Nash could be the closest to the old kryston.I could of got that completely wrong

Well in the case it isn't, it's a business I helped to set up and start, something I'm very proud of and, of course I'm going to advocate it, I know what goes into it and I know where it comes from, I wouldn't advocate anything I wouldn't use myself. Even more reason to be transparent about your advertising then. Regardless of your involvement with the company your opinion is invalid because of your connection. It would be like Mainline coming on here telling everyone their bait is the best.

After Kryston I moved on to the Gardner stuff which was good for a while, but they changed it.
Now on the Nash putty. Very good.

Haven't bought any for ages but will have to at some point so is the general consensus that the current Kryston stuff is rubbish and the Nash is better?

Don't buy the thinking anglers stuff, it's not bad texture-wise but the amount you get for the money takes the absolute p1ss!!!
