Tbf, the tuna seems to be getting a skating here, but I've had a few decent fish on tuna wafters in the last couple of years, albeit whrn fished over hemp and other bits and pieces and not their regular baits.

I doubled up wit a mate in France who used Tuna and the hot Chorizo liquid to glug them in.

Was up there with the most vile smells I'm smelt on the bank... absolutely savage.

However he did well on it and quite a few fish for the week.

Xxx and live system are great baits. I found that the tuna was a good bream bait but not too much more

Ccmoore equinox was a really good bait imo

When I first tried ccmoore I used odyssey XXX and did really well on a hard water but when Pacific tuna came out I switched to that to see what it was like and to be honest my catch rate dropped massively and that was on multiple waters. I haven't tried live system though so I can't comment on that.

Done really well for barbel on the Tuna. The river wye barbel love it, never tried it for carp.

Xxx would be in my top 3 carp baits of all time, particularly when when used when it's on the turn its fantastic.

What do you mean by using on the turn.

A bait that is no longer fresh, one that been out of the freezer for several days causing it to begin mother nature's process of maturing and fermenting in certain conditions, possibly showing white spots of Mold, etc.
Particularly good with baits containing certain proteins, enzymes, yeasts and sugars.

can use it like that if you wish but the timings important if you mess it up they will go moldy. you just want the sugars to release and make it active a light patchy white colour not to the point of coated with furr

I can't speak on the tuna for shelf life but I have used odyssey XXX shelf life and done well on it. Only problem is that it's a soft bait so you will struggle to get it out with a throwing stick.

I can get away with a catty most of the time if I'm not spombing, I'd rather it be soft than mega hard. 👍🏻👍🏻
