Have a look at the Navitas ones. About the same price. Very comfy and slip on easy.

I sometimes wear them for breakfast but for lunch I prefer nice alligator skin moccasins and in the evening a brown oxford or brogue together with my cravat and smoking jacket.

Got to get with the times H, it's a new world out there!
Personally I wouldn't buy a dedicated pair of bivvy slippers as they will invariably end up on the bank or in the water, I just use my normal sandals

Cheaper varieties are available.

used to have some bivvy socks a few years back - big thick woolen socks that had a rubberised sole on them meaning you could walk around on wet grass etc and then wipe them off before you get into your sleeping bag etc.

my mates ripped the piss out of me when they first saw me wearing them but after a couple of days on the bank and seeing me wearing them, they all went out and bought their own pairs - LOL

I use Crocks 90% of the time Keith got some closed ones for winter and open ones for summer easy to slip on and off the genuine ones dont make ya feet stink
you can walk in the water with them if needed and they float oh and just about the most comfortable things you can put on your feet
but of course if your one of these poor sad insecure people that worry about how something looks rather than how well it works they may not be for you lol

The Navitas weaves were the others I was looking at and after reading all the 5 star reviews on Amazon, went for them in the end. Managed to find a pair in my size in the plain green rather than the camo pattern....... I didn't want to look a total ponce. ;-)
They look so much classier than those plastic croc things you can pick up from the pound shop.

Only wear slippers in winter.

I'm a bit ocd won't lie so during summer have got navitas slip ons as fumbling about with boots is a nightmare lol winter I don't have to worry as I can't do nights throughout the winter due to work

I wear Crocs...because they are comfortable and you can slip them on in a run situation in the night and you can go in the water with them on.
And...because I'm over 50 so no one is looking at me anyway

You can fold the backs of these down so you can just slip them on like Crocs, but they are so light I'll most probably sleep in 'em.
Seem ideal for the Summer.

This feels a bit of a strange thing for me to type as its nealy always the opposite. I tend to get slippers at xmas from the sister, always nice sturdy ones. Got to say some of the Carp branded ones look very similar in quality and dare I say it cheaper, I might have a shufties

I've got a nice pair of slippers at home, wore them the other week on an overnighter.
They were super comfy, until I went outside and stepped on some stones....ouch.
These Navitas ones have a nice thick grippy sole.

Those navitas things have been sold as women's trainers for ages.. having them in a green size 9 doesn't detract from the fact they are really for girls feet

I suppose some snowflake carpers might use bivvy slippers, I have even seen some people with little door mats, bless... I either kip with my boots on or have them next to the bedchair with the laces tucked into the boot, so can just slip them on in a few seconds.

Crocs are horrible in muddy conditions, they are like walking on ice. I'm surprised I've not broken all my rods the number of times I've slipped and fell over in wet conditions.

So I'm lookin for something else and will be interested to see comments in this post.

I love my crocs for fishing in, but after getting the tops of tent pegs caught in the holes in the sides of the crocs whilst walking around the outside of the bivvy and bringing me down a few times, I have stopped wearing them for safeties sake. So instead now, I wear gardening clogs.

Note the MULES ard different and not what you want trust me I've got them as well any dew on the grass and you'll feel like your on Ice skates abs the water will come through - the miles will be fine for in the bivvy but that's all

You want the the thermoball with the harder wearing sole as they are perfect for fishing

They are ok for the summer with no socks I just prefer crocs In The summer

Somewhat of a northface ffan boy I've got them boots as well but the older nuptse boot version they are very similar to the slippers I recommends just less cumbersome in my opinion and I only use them in winter

That's okay Gerry. I laughed actually, because you sounded just like my Missus so no harm done xxxxx

I love mine. Very light and comfy, and as you say.............plenty of grip.
Haven't worn them yet without a thin pair of socks on, so can't report on how sweaty they get (or don't) but most probably will try them like that in France in a couple of weeks time.
But proving to be a good buy so far.

I too have been known to do the walk of shame in my croc's - they just seem to tick all the right boxes for me in terms of practicality. Havent slipped over myself (yet) but know a couple of mates that have.

I got a similar pair of these North Face ones but a normal slipper height, they see lovely and toasty wearing at home but I wouldn't want to wear them in the mud for fear of getting them dirty (😄precious I know). They have a good firm sole with great grips so would happily wear them in spring summer conditions outside, they are almost too good for on the bank however 😬

after using the Navitas Weaves for over 6 months I can honestly say the grip in slippery wet grass is so much better its chalk and chees and they are so comfortable I love em the grip is brilliant thats the thing that lets Crocs down

...........stating the bleeding obvious of course they are not warm enough for this time of year

totaly agree ive got the traction mules in the standard and the boot i also gave mine a good coat of fabsil
i wear mine in winter after ive set up, then il wear them all week ,any body who has these know how good they are
