In order to keep the SHB thread nice and fast (to load) I'll create a new thread every now and again. All threads (new and old) will link to each other so that no information / photos are lost

Links to past SHB threads...

OK, just finished and I think that the vast majority of images are now grabbed from Imgur (via a VPN) and now hosted on the CarpForum server.

There will probably be a couple missing, I am currently running scripts to try and find them, once found I can get the stragglers downloaded and fixed.

Well that seems to have worked ok. Can someone just confirm for me that everyone else can see those images okay.

The S2 & GPB1 cc are tougher than the GPB2 mate. If you want to make them even tougher... Tip them out onto a plate and dry them right out. Unlike a dried freezer bait which will suck up water like a sponge, they will stay a lot tougher, for a lot longer. We get customers complaining if we make them to hard these days.

The fact that neither have any fishmeal in will help regarding the Cray too. Get some Korda wrap, the stuff with the holes in if you have Cray problems. The fish don't care mate.

Thanks Karl, that sounds like a PITA. Just testing a new image host.

Brian with the spoils of a recent trip to Welly. S2 13mm cc over Cell. 42lb, 37lb8oz & 31lb. Brian has been absolutely rinsing it on every trip since he first started using our stuff.

With reference to the IMGUR issue, I have done the first 3 pages of images so far (33 photos)

It's quite repetitive and time consuming (especially having to download all the images via VPN) so I will find a way to do it programmatically tomorrow night (if I am not fishing )

Hi Mark, good evening, hope all is well, been while since ive been on the forum. Had my first fish out of a new lake on a GPB2 at the weekend after scratching my head for a couple of sessions without a bite. Not the biggest fish , but its been tricky conditions.
Anyway my question for you is regarding the S2 cc (popups) would they stay hard enough to resist crayfish for 12hrs? Doesn't need to remain fully intact as no bait would (The GBP2 are ideal for instance)
If not, is it possible to make a pot of harder popups? Totally understand if not.

Thanks,
Matt

Just been informed that all of the photos are not showing. They are showing for me as I'm not in the UK. After a bit of research, Imgur has removed service for the UK yesterday after being threatened with massive fines by the UK government about age checks. BBC link below. Copy & paste into your browser. I can't do live links.

Thanks to our government. Imgur is not porn, it's got bloody peoples photos on & memes. What are they playing at? Absolute nausers.

Karl has kindly offered to host the photos on the forum itself. So they will be back.
