In order to keep the SHB thread nice and fast (to load) I'll create a new thread every now and again. All threads (new and old) will link to each other so that no information / photos are lost

Mark, I haven't been on the forum for months and haven't fished more than a couple of days in the last few years, for reasons that I won't go into here, but I have just read this thread start to finish and it is an absolute eye opener with respect to your knowledge of bait and, even more importantly, your understanding of carp behaviour. Thanks for posting invaluable information for us lesser anglers to learn from.

I have two unopened pots of S2 on my desk, they've been there for months, occassionally I give them a sniff, like a druggie really, just a quick hit to remind me. I'm hoping to retire at the end of the year and next year, all things being well, I will do a bit of fishing, just the odd day here and there as I've never been a long session angler but I know that armed with some S2 I'll catch more than my fair share.

Stay well and thanks again.

Josh followed that common yesterday with one of Welly's most sort after. 53lb12oz. One that does not hardly come out. Three 50's & three 40's now on the Fizz S2 in a couple of months. Again fished over his own Amino nut freezers

The reserve Mark has been fishing on this year recently closed for spawning. He thought he'd have a few trips to Ellis. On just his 5th ever night on the 100 acre venue he caught one of the most sort after at 48lb+. S2 over Wraysbury MC Nut freezers. Well done mate.

Josh at Welly, Fizz S2 over his own Amino nut freezers. 42lb9oz

Craig and his son, GPB1, one of five from the Match lake in Yateley.

FishOn Ricci, 55lb12oz from his Essex syndicate. Sixth trip. ScopexPineapple S2 13mm balanced over shops fermented particle/crumb.

What a carp.

Dan with the big common from the park. GPB2 balanced. It's been missing for a little while apparently. This lad deserved this so much. He's caught them all. Well done mate.

FishOn Ricci, top fish has to be about the best looking French carp I’ve ever seen I think, from his current French trip. Bottom one from his Essex syndicate days before he left for France. He absolutely clumped them in that session. He also caught an incredibly special biggun. Will be able to show photos of that in a couple days or so. Take your breath away stuff that one.

Fizz S2 13mm balanced over normal shops fermented particles & 12mm Krill & crumb

Two more incredible old carp for FishOn Ricci from his Essex syndicate. The top one was stocked as a young fish in 1982. Making it well in excess of 43 years old. The bottom one is an incredibly rare visitor to the bank.

Fizz S2 & ScopexPineapple S2 13mm balanced, over shops fermented particle, crumb & 12mm Krill.
