Thanks for the feedback Karlos, good to know

We took the dog for a walk a few weeks back and the mozzies were there...but...they were the zebra striped ones, half the size of a daddy long legs, I don't fancy being bitten by them Those buggers bit through clothes in Thailand, nasty pieces of work, make UK normal mozzies look friendly!

I've had one of those LIDL Mozzie killers since they first brought them out a year or two ago. I think it was £12.99 back then.

They work nicely.

If you zip up the mesh on your bivvy and there's the chance of a mozzie or two still in there I just turn it on, it lasts all night and it's USB-C rechargeable.

It can make the bivvy smell a bit of burnt mozzie, but I'd rather that than bites to the wrists/ankles!

Recently I binned the cardboard box and now carry it around in an old pull cord tent bag I found laying around...it's not bullet proof but it's pretty well made.

I also carry a plastic tennis racket looking mozzie zapper...infact I found something on TEMU earlier that looks as though it might perform both tennis racket duties AND stationary zapping

This is probably not going to get noticed here but for inflatable users Glasgow Angling had offers on various items for boat users inc Minkota motors. I only checked the 1 out of interest but it was £30 cheaper than elsewhere on the net. Worth a look if your bored

Have you used this ? Seen it in real size ? It’s about the size of two 500g gas cans for a Bulin Not exactly compact But yes seems cheap £

Have I used it? no, I bought it on Tuesday, give me a chance...ha ha.
Seen it's real size? see previous answer and it's slightly bigger, see pic below.
I'm not bothered about it being compact it will also be used in our camping tent, maybe even in the house at times. It's certainly not for those wishing for a compact lamp but in this day and age of power barrows what difference does it make. I don't hang them from my tent they usually go on the floor under the bed where mozzies like to hide and I don't like crap falling onto my bed.
What I'm concerned about is, does it actually work, is the element bigger than compact varieties and does that make any difference, I guess only time will tell

Lamp

This picture will self destruct after a few weeks to free up space on my account!
