The thing to remember is no one in the history of the world as ever made a fortune on ego alone....
I think a full generation of youtubers and onlyfans models would disagree with his statement

Due to job/family commitments I can now only manage a single overnighter per week 12hrs max. The lake is too far to prebait and is what most would call a 'circuit water' so would unlikley get back in a baited swim anyway! Finding the fish will obviously be #1 priority, but after that bait is playing on my mind! I want to use paste as freebies and hookbait but worried about how long it will reasonably last. The water is very weedy and some swims have no clean spots and a chod/SH is really the only way to present. Has anyone had any experience wrapping corkballs in paste and meshing them? Have tested in a glass of water and seems OK, but in a glass of tap water vs the lake will probably be quite different, would glugging or adding anything to the paste for the hookbaits help keep them whole for longer? I dont want to boil and defeat the object of using paste! How about curing them in salt? The paste is the BM1 mix. Cheers

Yeah, the division is stacked, just hope boxing politics dont stop them geting in with each other!
Unfortunately i cant see the Spence Crawford fight being made unless one moves promotional outfit, would be very interesting tho. I lean towards Crawford, but only because of the car crash and the fact that Danny Garcia just didnt pose enough of a threat to show Spence isnt carrying any damage, but is a proper 50/50!

Fair play to Garcia, was a good win and sickening shot to end it, but unless his defence improves, Tank and Lopez will walk through him and Loma will box his ears off. I think he stops Haney though.
I cant see Tank beating Lopez, he has good power but is a small Lightweight, I see Lopez doing the same as he done with Loma to Davis.
Very exciting division tho!

Pair of sealskinz and some sliders on the floor ready to step into. Worst case miss the sliders, end up with dirty sealskinz and toasty dry feet.

knot recommendations for 0.14 whiplash to a braided shockleader (0.35)? I have always just used 50lb braid straight through on my spod setup, but new lake cant get the distance required. To a fluro leader i have always used an albright knot but not sure if the suppleness of both ends being braid would allow it to bed down properly without collaping on itself. Was also thinking double uni might be ok? Will have a play later but if anyone has a reliable suggestion might save me a bit of time and some nervous casts! Cheers

I pretty much use a mugga slip d rig for all the above, unless a chod is absolutely necessary - which is pretty much only when casting at showing fish in an unknown weedy lake/swim.

Definitely agree zigs seem to be the one when you see fish "smashing out". Head and shouldering IMO is them cleaning out their gills where they have been filtering the food from the bits the suck up off the bottom or where they are digging in silt i would even base my approach on these types of shows, tighter baiting with smaller bits to keep them grubbing. I have always imagined that proper crashing out is them chasing around small fry or hatches, although someone did tell me once they do it to clear leaches but i feel more confident behind my suspended foam believing the former!
