Hi....seem to remember years ago Tails up selling a bivvy boot with a waterproof sole. Only boots like this I can find now are the ones made by Snugpac..really not sure how waterproof they are. Anyone know if such a thing exists for us carpers.? Ideally something with a smooth outer so I can wear them in the sleeping bag!

I've got the north face Jupiter boots and the tractor mule slippers both are excellent and I'd highly recommend them if you can find some, note they do some mules with the soft sole you definitely want the tractor miles with the hard soles

I've never really understood why anyone would want this, surely your just going to be doing is making a mess of the inside of your sleeping bag? A pair of decent socks and it doesn't really take that long to slip your feet inside your boots

Tried them a few times, kept kicking them off in my sleep and then you're scrambling round the bottom of the bag for them... Or exiting the bivvy with one or none

They do wipe clean easy enough to not make the bag a state

you ACTUALLY wear shoes in your sleeping bag jesus Ive heard it all now it takes seconds to slip something on

Cheap pair of crocs next to your bed if you need a quick exit.

I've got the boot version of those and wear them most of the time once set up, love 'em, so much so I have one pair with my fishing kit that are covered in crap and another pair I wear at home

wouldn't wear them in the bag though

I wear a pair of neoprene beach shoes in my sleeping bag. They are very light and comfortable and have a flexible rubber sole which keeps my feet dry when diving out of the bivvy and easily wipeable when getting back it.
£10 from Ebay

Pair of sealskinz and some sliders on the floor ready to step into. Worst case miss the sliders, end up with dirty sealskinz and toasty dry feet.

I had a pair of the Tails Up from the mid 90's, only sold them last year on eBay and made a profit!! Montane do an equivalent in their Prism booties, semi stiff sole or they do a Fireball which is like an insulated sock. I prefer the Fireball, lighter and not quite as warm, but I find them too warm to sleep in, always end up removing them in the night.l

Hi OG... not exactly shoes..more of a snug bootie type thing lol. Im a fussy sod and hate having my feet all wrapped up in the peachskin inner. Maybe i could try some silk socks to provide that slippy feeling

I've still got my old carp tech bivvy socks. Ancient now, but still do the job.

wow carnt believe people sleep with their shoes on haha, pay all that money on a nice sleep system/bag and you want to put your grubby shoes inside it. ive the korda waterproof socks and a pair of £4 crocks from lidl, it only take a second if you set them right before going to sleep rather than having loads of crap at the bottom of your bag.
