I'm not a massive book reader tbh, but one i always recommend and have recently returned to after a few years for the updated version is "Prisoners of Geography"by Tim Marshall.

A great view on international geo politics, the history behind them and which way it is going in the future.

I know it sounds full on but its actually a quite readable book and massively informative. I first read it before Covid and since then many of the major events around the world (Russia/ Ukraine, Israel / Iran, China/ Taiwan etc etc) have played out in the way you would have expected

Presently reading The Authorised Biography of Bomber Harris by Dudley Saward.

I'd of loved to of met the man from what I'm reading, he didn't take any crap 😂

Read a couple lately, presently half way through reading Guy Martins All the medals have been handed out.

Before that it was the Diary of Sonny Ormrod DFC, the short life of a Maltese Hurricane pilot...he had some spirit!

Edit, finished Guys book, a nice easy read, humorous too 😎
