I have some Shellfish Special frozen's coming to me tomorrow from the Tackle Box. I needed some bait quickly, and don't have the time to roll any.
That is rolled by Asylum, for the Tackle Box, and the Tutti one they sell too.

No one did.
It's an old Pete Jones (Tackle Box) and friends fishmeal/shellfish meal mix, that Kenny has added his own bits and bobs too, over the last five years I'm told.
I've used the Tutti in the Spring, I still have a couple of kg in the freezer. That is a straight Asylum bait. Looking forwards to seeing this fishmeal tomorrow.

A successful bait evolved over the past 20 years for the personal use of a group of anglers of which our shop manager Peter Jones is a member, the bait is based on extracts and meals of fish, shellfish, and animal with a various range of natural plant-based extracts as an additional attractant.
The effectiveness of the bait has been enhanced in the past 5 years since having a knowledgeable bait maker roll their bait who has added new ingredients to the mix.

Might be useful for anyone to know, who wants an odd kg or two in a rush, and wants Asylum frozen bait.
The Tutti is nice. I had to stop using it, because of crystal clear water, it being bright orange, and ten billion coots and tufty's around.
But that was not the baits fault. Looking forwards to seeing this fishmeal tomorrow.

The tacklebox guys on this bait have done really well, noticeably higher catch rates from there individually chosen baits and a couple have had new PBs this season on it as well from a load of different lakes.

dont think Tacklebox have ever discounted and rightly so. Like they say, do you ask tescos for a discount when youve got a trolley full ? No. Discounting, in the long term isnt healthy for the trade. Great for us, but not the business.
