I'm not a huge McCartney fan, but at least he's a proper musician from a proper band

That's a bit unfair on Paul McCartney, like Mal nowadays I'm not a big fan but he's still worthy of top spot.

Diana Ross was awful 😞 totally out of tune , these ageing stars gotta know when to retire gracefully.

So after watching pet shop boys last night, I quickly came to the conclusion that they were head and shoulders above anyone else at Glastonbury this year, a set that will probably go down in the legendary category

Agreed, the line up was poor this year, but there is always something for everyone, which what makes it so good. I've been when there has been great line ups, and not so good line ups, you still have a good time and watch live music

yeah i get that that, live always brings an atmosphere, and im normally a fan witching Glasto, but this yr, was poor and focused quite alot on political and snowflakes issues...from what i watched anyway.

They are quite fantastic live
I'd put Maiden, Metallica and nine inch nails up there as best live bands I've seen.
And Bruno Mars.... that lad can sing and his band were tight as flip

Music has always been a vehicle for political views, and Glastonbury is the perfect event to air those views given the vast audiences. I didn't see any "snowflake" issues being raised.
Pet Shop Boys blew the place to bits; stunning performance and shame they were not on the main stage as it was better than anything else that happened all weekend.

I always think of this when I see the old "snowflake" come out
I caught the final 3 tracks of the Bicep set. Now that looked like something I would want to be involved in.
Never been to Glastonbury, doubt I would bother now, too commercial compared to what is was.

It's good to know snowflake is many things to different people, for everyone promoting one view there's about 1 million others
For me a snowflake is a soft **** who needs a reality check and needs to stop living in a dreamers world where everything is nice and fluffy. In other words, grow some knackers and man up

Shame and Viagra Boys both ripped the festival to shreds this year. Check their sets out, genuinely exciting live bands, superb. The Murder Capital were also very, very good. Thought Arctic Monkeys and GnR were awful, and for different reasons, but Elton nailed it (minus the guest slots.) Rick Astley and Blossoms playing The Smiths was surprisingly good. Despite it having become more commercial over the years, Glastonbury always has something for everyone, and the smaller stages have some absolute gems.

My missus saw him in 2015 and was disappointed, she was expecting the man of bling, wild costumes and full of energy.
8 years later and it looked to me and the missus that he had trouble walking. I know we should make allowances for age but we both thought it was a little bit boring.
