So, I'm coming back to fishing after a long break and I'm in need of some waterproof trousers. I'm thinking a bib and brace might be a better option, as it would give me a bit more coverage, especially for photos, etc.

My only issue is sizing. I'm on the larger side, standing at 6ft tall with a very big build. Can anyone recommend some brands worth looking at?

I'm a bit out of touch with fishing clothing at the moment, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 🤔

The Korda ones are great but they are not a fully water proof one. More splash proof i would say.

I have the XXL and they were huge on me already and also very long in the leg. Lost a load of timber this year so will be in the market for some new ones myself at some point, most likely will go back to the Korda ones.

Might be worth having a look at the German Army Flectarn if it's a consideration, I bought it after Gerry on here recommended it. I have 2 sets, a tighter fitting summer set and a winter set that'll go over my Fox Sherpa Tec bib & brace. You can get the GAFT in all sorts of sizes, leg and chest, sometimes new or at the very least A1 grade.
