Anybody got any long term reviews on these ? I need something bigger and taller than my tempest brolly, this fits the bill ! Or anything else worth considering ? Also looking at the tempest 100 shelter system. It’s between these 2 I think.

not a long term review but ive gone from a tempest v2 brolly, I wanted more view of the lake when sitting on my bedchair and more head room, the xl hide gives me just that aswell as more space infront of the bedchair...I absolutely love it...one thing I dont like is the tension put on the front pole fabric when opening out and this does seem to come away if not fanned out proper (seen pics online of quite a few like that) it take my tume setting up and ensure its fully fanned out before pulling the arms forward.
ive had it about 6 months and its really good spacious bivvy without a massive footprint, not that much bigger footprint than the regular hide

i've seen endless posts on fb regarding the stitching going on the nash hides, probably user error but doesn't give confidence buying.... if I were you i'd get a tempest 100T

Yep been using the Hide XL since they were first released must be getting of for 7 to 8 years now been a great shelter plenty of internal space and head height goes up in seconds

Yes, had mine for years, no issues.
Great height, and plenty of space, as previously said, make sure it's fanned out properly before pulling the tension poles together.

I've had the original Titan Hide XL since 2020 and had no problems with it whatsoever.
Easy to put up, plenty large enough to fit a bed and a chair in as well as all your luggage and the headroom is great.
The only minor gripe I had is that the infil panel didn't come with a clear window so if you needed the waterproof front on you couldn't see out. I got Army Andy to fit one for £50 though so now it's fine.

agree on this, would have liked a clear door. Other than that I think it's a great bivvy.

Like carpy09 I've had mine since first released used and abused and still fine, was so impressed I now also have the Hide XL camo pro.
I've done a week in France with no probs, it's not too heavy and a great footprint, particularly like the flat back as I used to fish a lake with small swims and steep banks behind so my tempest brolly with the rib sticking out the back wouldn't fit

Like previous posts, only have good things to say on the Titan hide xl.
Swapped from my old trakker tempest about a year ago and it's been brilliant, two stand outs for me are the increased head room and the easy set up/pack down.
Only criticism I have is the tube bag it comes with, I move quite a lot in my fishing and that was a pain so just dispensed with it and carry on the barrow as it is.

Another happy Hyde XL user here, I also hoard bivvys and was an avid supporter of the trempest in various guises prior to this but the hyde has been brilliant, loads more room goes up just as qucik and sdo we really need aquatexx??????

I used a hide XL for a good few years and didn't have a problem with it, until I snapped a pole, my fault not the bivvy's! and Nash couldn't provide a replacement, which I found very annoying!
I now have a Wychwood Epic Tactical, which is in my opinion better than the hide in all aspects, apart from the weight.

Had 1 for 3 years and cant knock it, was out in storm Amy & Dave and it coped fine while others packed up and went, for the size its lightweight and easy to put up/down, the only gripe is the design of the front bars that just dont go in the bag without a faff

I've got the XL pro and only started using it this year after I got it for a good price in TFT sale.
I've come from a pioneer 100 and 150 and I have to say although can tell material isn't as good and stuff like the bag ripping easily...it's a really good bivvy. Very spacious inside, lightweight, sturdy and strong. I haven't had it in hoolie conditions yet but I'm liking it so far.
