Hi all, looking at purchasing the solar black lite butt rests. Has anyone had any problems with the coating coming off or is that not a problem.

Buy with confidence mate, had my set for what must be coming up to 5 years now and they haven't flaked or chipped or anything like that.

Agree . . best back rest out there - much prefer them to the Jag jobbies (even though I'm a Jag fanboy)

I disagree - the ESP ones are better, mostly because they don't cost lol money. (I have the original solar ones!) Agreed on Jag.

I think it'll only be a problem if mistreated, no annodised coating will survive that long term. I used the original solar small butt rests, then bought the jag which I've used since, but have the new P1 mini's for different applications where a firmer grip is required rather than just flat pods.

Great thanks people. I was going to get the original p1 version which I know will last forever so good to hear the black ones should be Just as good Ÿ‘

Yes but they look noddy and are cheaper . . .so they must be worse . . .
