So, I have some RH digitals and if I'm honest I have found them utter crap, think they have finally packed up TF

Wychwood T-Bar, i also have a Rh scale and i never use it, the Wychwood T-Bar is just good enough, the original battery has been in it for 4 years.

I think the 2nd generation Fox digi scales are great. Always makes me laugh seeing videos of dial scale needles bouncing around all over the shop and then the anglers present deciding on an 'accurate' weight.

I was using my old avons but upgraded to some old dials I had in the spare room.
I always fancied something different to reubens, and dont like to rely on batteries.
Had reubens but they had kgs on the outside and the pounds on the inside and the graduations seemed too squashed up.

I was thinking going back to old dial scales, they just work even though they are generally larger than the electronic versions.

Is there an in the middle decent dial option between RH flyweights and specimens?
Water I'm on pushes the flyweights to their 40lb limited (about 35lb when using a sling), but specimens are ginormous in comparison and take up far too much bag space.

I have the flyweights mainly for the river, cracking little scales. I think the next ones up are 60lb then the 120s.
Just bought myself some of the Wychwood electronic ones for £25, if i get a few years battery like like mentioned should be good for the money ðŸ‘
RH will be in the bin when i get home

I thought for £10 they were worth a try.

Original Fox Digis still going strong and accurate - no idea why they ditched genius integrating handles . . .only issue is no on/off switch but so used to flipping battery its not a realworld issue . . .

I use similar digital but unbranded scales bought off eBay for around £6.
They are tiny and more accurate than my old 40lb Avons and a set of 60lb RH's.
I carry a set of RH 'sportscale' 10kg dial scales as backup (river fishing). Again because they are small and light.
