Need some heavy hangers, what do people recommend? I use the MK1 safeliners usually but can't add weight to them annoyingly unless I whack loads of tungsten putty in them I suppose 🤣

I'm not familiar with safeliners but couldn't you use something like the Solar indicator weights between body & chain?

Don't think so because the safeliner mk1s are a bit of rope/string that is tied in a kint inside the indicator which is what secures it. Different to the MK2s which I could get but don't think they go very heavy on the weights.

I'm sure you can add the solar hanger weights to them
I just can't remember if mine are Gardner weights or solar…
Im sure they are just a 2ba thread so you could also buy a different chain system to use with the bobbin.
Jag also do a weight that drops over the top if it helps

Depends if it's a short term need - if so just put a quick link on the cord and hang a lead - proper Carpy in the short term

Nothing wrong with the old fox swingers. I use a set when I'm fishing a tidal river, sliding adjustable weight. Stood the test of time.
