I'm after buying a cheap bait boat for a lake that il be fishing over winter. It will only ever get used on that lake, so don't want to spend a lot. TFT have the boatman actor mk4 on sale for £200 at the moment, Is there anything better for that money ? I was going to buy second hand but it's a minefield with boats second hand seen it all too often. And any reviews on the actor mk4 ? Cheers

u won't go wrong with the boatman boats the basic actor mk4 are great little boats , I've had both the actor plus and actor Vulcan and can't fault either of them . Look on Boatmanuk.com website they are bringing out the Vulcan mini due in stock end of December this year which is slightly dearer at £275 from boatman website its top rig loading bigger bait capacity fully waterproof boat and handset

Pretty sure I just saw 10% off the boatman boat range (Black Friday)

I love my Actor Plus and can't fault the service from Boatman

I like the look of the Vulcan mini. Might go for that, looks perfect for what I need

I have the Actor Mk4 for a few years now, its never missed a beat, would recommend 100%

I have the original Vulcan, but if the mini was around when I bought mine I'd have gone for the mini

I've ordered the Vulcan mini. Will be perfect for what I want. Hopefully it performs as good as it looks !
