Before I replace my energizer with another energizer, any recommendations on a AAA head torch with red function and a fair range?

I've got a Petzl Actik Core. It has a rechargeable battery but also takes AAA's.

Not triple A battery but usb c rechargeable these headlights from decathlon are pretty solid. The great thing being that they start up on the red light then you can toggle to bright white beam when you wish .

Takes AAA's but also has a rechargeable battery built in and runs on the AAA's when the other is flat.

Ticks all of your boxes with red light and brightness too!

If you are using a head torch over the winter months I'd always suggest whatever batteries you put in it go rechargeable lithium.
They perform so much better than alkalines which are poor in the cold.

I honestly don't think you can beat the Energiser head torches. I've three slightly different ones, all cheap and very reliable.

Picked a small compact head torch up from pound land the other week £3 made by Kodak and rechargeable too.
