I'm after a bit of advice on a bivvy that'll work for 90% solo sessions, but also take two standard bedchairs when I bring my little boy along.
I've been looking at the Advanta Pro Peak 1.5 man, but I'm not sure if it'll realistically take two beds without everything touching the skin or blocking the door. Has anyone actually run two beds in the 1.5? Pics would be ace if you've got them.
What I'm after:
- Preferably 1.5 or compact 2-man footprint (not a barge, but roomy enough for two beds).
- Front-to-back bed layout workable.

Honestly not sure you can get a bivvy that will take 2 bedchairs front to back and not be massive.
I think the options are to get a bivvy that you can get an overwrap/social wrap for to make it bigger. Then can probably get the 2nd bedchair in. Or buy a cheaper 2nd bigger bivvy like the Fox EOS 2 man.
I have a Nash Hide XL and can just about squeeze a 2nd bed in but width ways not back to front. That's what I go for if I take one of the kids. Or just give them a camping mattress on the floor.

Take a look at the solar quick up. One person bivvy that can adjust to 2 people. Failing that, many of the gazebo type shelters fit your brief.

If you look at many of the current bivvy options, such as the Fox Frontier, Solar Uni Spider and Wychwood Epic as they are all good for a normal solo session and you can get the extension to use and get a 2nd bed in there. I tend to take a brolly for me and a bivvy for my boy when he comes along as easier than using my huge Trakker SLX 2 man, which is great but a pain to set up so only do it if going for a long session where I definitely won't be moving

I use a quest defier mk3 for when my daughter comes with me. Her bedchair goes at the back, mine at the front and still a little for kit. Ended up getting the front extension, which gives enough room for chairs and a place to sit in the evenings.

Advanta seems to be a bit bigger compared to yours. I might order it and see if I can fit 2 beds in it. If not, I can always return.

JRC cocoon 2man has plenty of space, especially with the overwrap on. I get 2 bed chairs in comfortably with room for gear too (and that's without the overwrap)

I have a jrc quad and 2 bedchairs lengthwise fit but only just, without the overwrap poking out of the door a tiny bit, certainly not closing the door

I have a Quest Defier 1 man and bought a front extension for that very reason.
Plenty of room for 2 beds lengthways with the front extension on and a cracking 1 man bivvy without.
