I'm getting badgered by my Mrs and kids to decide what I want for Xmas trouble is I can't think of anything I need or want to to upgrade, any suggestions on things unobvious that have made a difference on the bank?
If I don't come up with something by end of October I'll end up with something I don't need or won't use.
If nothing jumps out at me I'll probably just suggest an SHB gift card

A UCO candle lantern is a nice thing to have in the bivvy in winter.
Something for the camera set up? Titanium cookware and brew kit to lighten the load a bit?

As is the ridge monkey bivvy light but found the one with integrated power bank for the same £55 as the standard one Amazon. Only 5200mah but will should do a phone charge out of it 😁
UCO lantern is a nice looking piece of kit .But can't blow it out by remote control and any heat benefit would be wasted on me as door always open.

Decent power bank, or you could never go wrong with some Costa or maui jim shades.

It's a small candle, no heat benefit at all, just nice soft light on a long night.

I already have 2 pairs of Costa's, nice story as to why I have 2 pairs,my 1st pair fell off my hat and cracked a lens on a tiled floor, I tried to invoke the lifetime guarantee but Costa UK rep said as the model was discontinued and no spare lenses available too bad,not satisfied with this I emailed Costa in the US outlining the situation,they apologised and sent me an e voucher for a new pair of glasses for the cost of the replacement lens £60.
So got a new pair of £200 glasses. The broken ones I got polarised lenses made for by a local firm for £35. They're actually not too bad and use them for everyday use driving etc.

Quite fancy , a Korda spring bow 5+5 which would really come in handy . It would have to be a good deal really as wouldn't pay the RRP .

Trakker tap is actually pretty good - USB charge lasts and age and if you're a frequent T drinker way less agg filling small kettles for constant brews (they don't need lifting / placing upright on a bucket for gravity fills etc). . . I know it sounds daft - but in reality it works really well

I have a couple of uco lamps, they provide no warmth at all, but give a enough light to be able to see your shoes etc when getting up in the night. Plus I have seen rats spook away from coming under the brolly when they see them . And you can use citronella candles in the warmer weather to help keep the mozzies away. I wouldn't be without mine

Been using the NGT tap for a couple of years now and its never run out of charge even on a weeks camping. Something I thought was a gimmick but actually quite like it now.
