24 hours and I had a 27lb mirror from a small lake in Southampton on Halloween it was a rich worth crab & mussel boilie and it was close in,probably less than 10' out by some Lilly pads which covered around 75/80% of the lake and you could walk round it in 10/15minutes and I found out it had been put in by someone who had it out from the itchen,it was then found not swimming properly and was put back into the itchen and then I saw a picture of it in carp talk,probably around 7/8 years ago some lad had it out at 26lb so at least I knew it had survived.

3 days Lac Cassien. My friend caught a 23.5kg fish then.
Hook was attached to the tiny wire loop of another swivel with about 10m of snag leader incl. lead and rig firmly attached to the fishs mouth.
Not sure if that counts...Think about the chances of a hook point catching a tiny wire loop in a huge lake.
Was about 30 years ago.

3 days several times and i quite often leave for 2 days if im sure everything like line lay, landed spot on and most of all if ive had no bleeps or signs that fish have been on me. Obviously if fish have shown elsewhere then move but if not then that lack of disturbance can pay off.. hard call though and it can really play on your mind hence you have to be very confident all is right.

Regularly 22 to 24 hours for me

My baits are never in the water longer than 4 hours before a run
