Hi All.

I tend to fish 2 rods almost exclusively these days.

I've tried searching the normal places but has anyone come across a case for spare spools that just takes 2 (or even 4 would be useful given I have braid/fluro/mono)?

I always just use a sock for two spools, drop one spool in, twist the sock then drop the other one in, then fold it over. Stops the spools touching one another or getting clipped by anything. It's about as streamline as you can get.

what a good simple idea that is, i have used socks for individual spools before but never thought of twisting it and putting two in one sock

Exactly as I do mine. I did go posh and buy a Fox spool case but the spools still sit in socks inside as they're metal and the case has no baffles, I don't want them clanging against each other.

That's what I've done generally. Just find it a bit untidy! Will probably persist with that option though!
