I've got a trip coming up that the Mrs is considering coming on, so I need to sort her a bed chair and bag out.
I was considering second hand, but she isn't happy with that which is fair enough. So what low cost options would suit for a couple of days?
I can see JRC do one for about £110. Theirs used to be good in the old days. Is it worth looking at any other brands around that price bracket?

Get her a roll up foam camping mat and tell her she should be satisfied with that.

I bought the jrc defender mk 2 lite it can be used as a chair as well as a bed great for £110 used 5 times all good

£29.99 camp bed from Decathlon along with their £9.99 sleeping bag should be fine for an occasional night under the stars for her indoors!

When we were younger, we did mats. They were awful back then could feel every stone. Then we upgraded to them Argos camp bed jobbies and you could feel every bar 😬.
So fairs fair, the old gal deserves a bit of comfort in her later years....
She will be in her own bivvy tho so I don't have to put up with her snoring 😂😂😂

Try Decathlon camping, per Bmthman. Decathlon make great gear, without the carp tax.
I use a Decathlon 900 Comfort Carp Fishing Bedchair. Tried all the usual ‘big' carp names, at more double the price of the 900, couldn't find anything as comfortable. I'm 6'2 and 62 years old, spend many nights on it and not a twinge.
Maybe a bit more than you want to spend at 230 quid rrp, but you may even end up wanting to use it yourself

I got the cover & bag also when I bought the chair as they're tailored to fit perfectly with straps & corner pockets.
Also very good value for money.
