I don't have the Quest pop ,but I do have the Carper tackle speedflex version and winter wrap..

You have to learn the pack down on these !

I've used three times ,so it's not a long term evaluation at all..

However, it took the strong winds ,and remained dry without the winterskin,I think its a good bit of kit ,especially if you want to go minimal ,it seems well made I have to say ,but like I mentioned you have to study the pack down film on youtube, it seems a faff....however ,its really easy once you have learnt the way of the pack down..

I'm currently having the biggest sort out of my kit ,so whether I keep it or no ,I'll have to see .


It's deffo ,not a crap bit of kit....

Hello, can't believe that only one person has a pop up Bivvy, !

Hi, I've not got the quest pop up bivvy, but i do have the fox one. I quite like it, had it for a few years now and it definitely comes in handy, you probably wouldn't want to do longer trips than an overnight stay in it. But if you don't want to cart around a bivvy for an impromptu trip it's great. I use it for day trips quite regularly.

It weighs next to nothing and is very quick to put up, once you have the knack.
However, the first time I tried to pack it away was akin to a sketch out of Benny Hill, cue the theme tune.
Bloody Nightmare.

After a couple of trips with it, it's a lot easier to pack down.

I'd definitely suggest a few practice runs in the garden packing this type of bivvy away before you use it on the bank.

Lol,my wife didn't realise how well educated and the level of wordmanship that I possess until I started trying to put my version away ,I had a long ,single-track of sweat dripping down one side of my face.

All is fine now.....!!!!
