Had my first few days out with my new bedchair so thought I write a review.
Firstly, it's high and heavy. Even in my quite big bivvy, its very high compared to the old Nash Wideboy but there is plenty of space underneath to stash everything.
Did I mention it's heavy!! bugger me you'll need a barrow to get it to the swim and be stronger than me to get it into the bivvy.
However, I knew that when I bought it and you only lift it a couple of times (unless you move swims a lot) so once it was in the bivvy, its easy to get set up, no messing around with handwheels and the legs extend with ease.
Saving the best till last, it is so sodding comfortable. I slept the best I ever have on the bank, not being disturbed by any bites meant I slept in till way past dawn on the first morning. I couldn't find a position that wasn't comfy. I sleep on my back, side, front, legs hanging over the edge and there was no hint of backache or pressure points with the bed. I even set my alarm for the remaining time to make sure I was up at the crack of dawn.
In all, heavy, high, easy to set up and comfy as f**k

I don't know if I got the wide one by accident, is the smaller version really wide as well?
Is there something on the bed saying what version it is?

V tempted but my only issue is the height - I sit on a transformer chair (Trakker) and the legs don't touch the floor with this bedchair (they do on my Mk1 SP C Tech) Is there a comfy bedchair buddy that works with the mk2?

Im the same but from the pov of having to bring the bed forward in my V2 air due to the slope at the back. Im sure a member on here has made the legs shorter, seemed like a easy mod if your handy ish.

I have mixed feelings about this bed. I have the wide version and after 4 x weekends the one spring loaded leg broke. The next day another. Since April its been back to TFT as Solar said they are replacing the bed. After weeks and weeks of missed dates now being told no stock till minimum End of June. So basically 3 months without a bed at the very least.
Bed is comfortable but it being sold as virtually bomb proof mine didnt even last 4 x 48hr sessions.
Unfortunately seems a trend with Solar these days. Bought the P1 net for the arm spigots to snap on the first outing. My Solar Euro pod has the P1 Buzz bars with one arm seizing before I could even use it with the ball bearing shearing in the release lock. My mate bought their SP Uni bivvy for the front panel not to fit as the zips was installed the wrong way up. Then on 3rd outing a pegging point literally just ripped off the bivvy in no wind. Losing my faith in them tbh
