Looking for recommendations on 10ft rods for this country and to use in France. I don't need to cast as I use a bait boat in this country and a boat in France. Just think for me 10ft rods will be easier to manage on a boat. Thanks 👍

Ultimate Bionic from fishdeal if budget conscious or Chiltern Custom Rods if willing to spend a bit. Both retractable or I also use 2 piece Freespirit CTX that are a decent value for m9ney rod.

You will not find a better value for money 10ft rod for your buck IMO. The same rod with a different name on would be costing you a hell of a lot more money.

The 3.25 are quite a bit more pokey. For what you describe, the 3lb are made for the job.

I used these rods on Theale lagoon. I only changed over to the 3.25lb versions when the weed became savage. When reeling in weed-bergs from 550m would take upwards of 30 minutes for each rod and leave you physically broken.

If you can get to the TackleBox, you can compare all of these rods. They hold a big stock of all Free-Spirit & some of the other best brands of 10 footers. Go compare them all for yourself if that is possible for you.
