Shot on the hook... does this work... looking at the cost various opinions available, guess korda the most expensive... worth the money.. more fish on the bank..

I've been trying it using shrink tube and a No. 1 shot. I stretch the shrink tube with scissors, put it over the No. 1 shot, shrink it down, and leave a small tag end which goes on the hook.
can't say I've noticed much difference yet, it'll probably help with ronnie / 360 rigs though stopping the hook going all over the place on eject. I just don't ever use those rigs that often to really continue bothering...

yes surprisingly well, I seen something nearly identical being sold by a dutch angler(kwinten), thought it was a pretty neat idea

I bought the PB Products ones as an experiment and have been using them on a size 4 hook on combis with wafters . . .have had a few decent fish recently / have been consistent on new water but not really sure whether or not these have made the difference (have been swopping between this rig and Withy Pool rig for pop ups / Slip D/Noodle Rig on braid for bottom baits and still catching so maybe I'm just on a roll)

'Thing that bothers me with this weighted hook point idea, is the greater risk of the hook getting snarled up on the bottom, or the hook point dinking over if fishing on a hard spot?
