After getting my a*se handed to me watching some guys caning carp off the top what's peoples preference for a decent distance style controller?

Looking at ESP, Nash and Korda options.

Last year I changed from standard controlers to the ESP and I've had far less issues with tangles. I didn't like how tight the swivels supplied were and swapped them out for a smaller one.

Large MCF egg float - now down to my last 4x . . . . v difficult to source - wish Korda or someone would steal the details from Dennis and re-issue!

2nd favourites are Gardner Flatliner (good value with 3x in a pack). . .fish these helicopter style and the larger ones can be cast miles - using a looped mainline connection sizes can be swopped out easily and I sometimes alternate with a small rocket spod (spodcopter) to fire out freebies and slop etc . . .

If you're still failing break out the beachcaster - will ruin all 'normal' floater fishing for everyone else whilst you haul . .

I sold the Gardener ones along with those Eustace controllers -they were one of many items I bought that never saw daylight lol.

Gardener flatliners can work well especially when they've never been 'seen' before . . .heli set up also mitigates tangles with longer links
