Has anyone used this and is it equivalent to aspen 4?.
Unsure where to ask but thought because it is slightly cheaper and that folk could use it in their cookers.
Any feedback greatly appreciated as I'm down to my last 5 litre of aspen4?.

A quick Google and some camping forum results says it's the same type of thing and no real difference.

Edit - Always used aspen 4 in the pressure washer and never missed a beat but has gotten more expensive these days.

I bought some Aspen on Saturday for my lawnmower, £24 for 5ltr. Is that pretty normal?

That seems normal to me. The Husqvarna is selling in places for just under £19. Ideal if you're close by as most do not deliver.

I'm not sure if there's any relevance here but we have a Hayter petrol mower, iirc it's a Honda engine, and Hayter told me not to use Aspen. I can't quite remember why, lack of additives maybe. I found that odd as I'm sure the local mower place sells T4 but I've not gone against their advice.

The only thing i have been told is if you start using Aspen in a mower / engine etc, you can't go back to using a petrol mix again. I have used Aspen in both my Hayters for years without any problems

Always used Aspen 4 and Aspen 2 in gardening kit . . . primarily because you can leave in the tank over winter without affecting engine etc

Nipped into Chelford farm supplies and the Husqvarna was £19.99 and was told it's the same as aspen 4. Infact i'm pretty certain he said Husqvarna actually make the aspen 4.
For info .... I use lawn mowers (Honda, Briggs and Loncin engines) for a living for many years and have never had an issue with E5 fuel (super unleaded)

Interesting, I wonder why they told me that, maybe they assume people might swap around, not sure I'd want to restrict myself. Having said its a Honda I'm fairly sure it's a Briggs now after Gafne mentioned it.

When I was first advised to use the Aspen in my chainsaw, strimmer etc. by a ground maintenance guy he said that it is basically just like the old four star fuel with something added to give it a longer shelf life. It definitely runs cleaner than standard unleaded, there's no sign of carbon around the exhaust on my chainsaw after about eight years.
