I have a pair of Pros and whilst they have been great value for money over the years, I'm finally giving in to the pain they cause me when wearing them. They rub on my ankles and if I'm not wearing a thick pair of socks they cut into my ankle.
I'm looking for a new pair and wanted to ask pros and cons for what's out there. All the Instagramers wear Vass but there's all sorts of options, then there's other brands. Any comments welcomed on your experience/preference.
My Pros are heavy duty although Im openminded to a lighter pair. Is anyone able to comment on the comparisons if owned both?

I've just had the trakker n2's, they're about medium, not too thin not to heavy. I like them, they cone witj a nice bag to carry and dry your waders in. Although I've broke one of the clips allready, troden on it but then why don't they use heavy duty clips on these things. Good Quality product and they finish them off with cheapo thin brace clips

Pretty sure the trakker ones are just rebranded generic ones... They are the same as "Dirt Boot Amphibian Chest Waders". Nothing wrong with that, but you might as well get the cheaper version, rather than pay trakkers carp tax!
Lots of people recommend Ocean, but they never seem to have any stock or anywhere to physically try some on.
I've got a pair of Vass 700. Zero complaints and readily available in local shops to try on for size, and/or return if you're not happy.

I've just picked up a secondhand pair of Ollyskins, must admit they do seem a good quality and tough material. Being of the slightly fuller figure they're a little snug in the body and at the top of the boot. But they'll do me fine for the limited amount of wear they'll get.
If you want comfort, especially in the warmer weather, for extended periods of wear, you really need to be looking at breathables, usually at many £££'s.

I would say fairly heavy duty, certainly not lightweight. I think mine are a discontinued model, but expect the new ones to be similar.
Don't know how they compare to Vass, as I've not had a pair.

I had the Vass heavy duty camo and 1st time i wore them noticed a perfectly small round hole in the back of the boot. Like it was stamped out. I took them back to the shop and vass refused to take them back. I will never buy vass again.
Oceans used them for sea fishing and walk miles with no issues. Easy on and off with a front internal pocket.

Contact vass direct mate, they were very helpful. I had the cheapest version and mine went around the weld at the crotch within a yr. They replaced them foc
