Having just bought back my kit I am looking at a throwing stick my last 3 was the cobra std 22mm and queen in orange and the solar sharp shooter.

If anyone has these in the shed I'd be happy to purchase I quite like the shrrrrrrriiiiinnnng sound

Any recommendations: I could never use the Korda plastic stick as each bait would hit me in the feet.

TackleBox CFX Swift stick, or the Prologic Carbolite. Got both in separate rod holdalls. They're basically the same as each other. Both so easy to use and carbon is such a game changer.

Edited as remembered the name of the Prologic one lol.

A while ago there was a thread on this, well worth a search. The Harrison stick was well liked but there was another carbon stick that was very highly recommended and it wasn't a big brand, for the life of me I can't remember it, even though I watched it on Ebay for months...grrr.

Did a quick forum search and found Bombus and Orient (more expensive) but I think the post I recollect is pre forum reboot, and the stick was great value for money (comparatively).

Ebay is showing one contender in the Corus throwing stick. Hopefully someone will either confirm it's this one or remember the right one.

Corus one looks the same as the CFX Swift stick and has the same matt finish. The Prologic Carbolite is the same, but in a shiny varnished finish. They all seem to be around the £40 mark. I'd never go back to a plastic or metal stick now.

Hmm, I don't think so unless they sold on Ebay, can't see them doing that.
I've not seen the cfx or prologic, I'll have a nosey.
