Looking at the possibility of getting a deeper quest bait boat

Any users here that can give good solid feedback please

Don't own one.

Had a demo at the Essex show, it looked a well thought out offering to me.
Really like the controller having the phone mount on it.

If I was after a bait boat I would definitely consider it, although the price is quite inhibitive

I have an ND2 and in a side by side comparison it is flimsier in build, twin hulled not triple hulled and a smaller payload. Also the batteries can only be charged in situ in the boat. As previously said it is also expensive in comparison.

Saying all that it looks a good boat with a couple of nice features but certainly not the best or a game changer.

I dont have one but looked at one at Essex Carp show. I will be honest it has some nifty features but really looked cheap. I would go try one before I buy if I was you. At Essex show they were selling the Toslon X Boat with XR500 all in one controller for £2100 which is a far superior boat for a few £ more

Also an ND2 user (partly thanks to your review on this site, thank you!)
I am happy with the circa £500 ND2, plus (extortionate) £200 autopilot software upgrade via AppStore. Then just added Deeper mount (£30) and Deeper of your choice off the back (sub £100 up to latest/greatest version). Plus Deeper range extender so you can go further than 50 yards and still have a signal

It can be a faff having ND2 app and Deeper app open on same phone, flicking between the 2 apps is hassle.

I see on the Deeper app it's all in one, click map and boat drives there whilst showing you Deeper info in same app.

The boat I saw at the show didn't look flimsy, but I never picked it up and man handled it at all, so not disagreeing with you.

Agree that the Toslon might be the better buy, I certainly wouldn't go RT7. Two of my mates have them and I have not been impressed. Far more complex to use them, software on the handset is quite laggy/sluggish to use...and I had to strip to my pants to swim out and retrieve my mates boat at a venue last year.

2nd hand SB3 fully loaded . . .compact / lightweight / triple hulled so stable - RELIABLE

ND2 Boat, internal Wi Fi extender, speed upgrade, extra Nav lights and hopper lights, GPS package plus Raymarine Dragonfly 5 fully internal installation, Top end sonar, sturdy build, no extra external boxes or tripods etc, versus flimsy boat which at best houses an inferior echo sounder/ fish finder for exactly the same price? Doesn't add up to me 🫤

Can see the initial attraction but just doesn't add up inthe old LSD ( Pounds Shillings and Pence - real Old School 👍

Love mine so easy to use I was lucky that Total fishing tackle had a 20% off sale at the time so nabbed one don't regret it at all, u get everything u need in one package. Feels very well built
