Any thoughts on the Baitworks Pro Flow boilies?

They are a barbel bait, but I wonder if they would be good for carp too.
I like the idea of mixing with water rather than eggs. Are there any other base mixes that suit this?

They will work for carp also, after all plenty of carp were caught on cheap Semo/Soya baits in the 80's. Baitworks are known for quality products so this will work also.

They don't use eggs in any of their baits.

Throw back to the high protein milk protein baits of the 80s and 90s with added fishmeal. Not cheap but applied correctly will catch as many carp as they will barbel.

Due to the prices of liquid egg there's a few that now opt for powdered instead.

It is excellent bait and catches everything (including roach!). I've caught barbel, chub, carp and bream on it. The roach came to 14mm boilies and size 7 hooks whilst chub fishing - so they obviously like it !

I was involved in testing it from the very first batch. My fishing partner helped ‘design' it.

I tried a one off, fun carp trip last Winter and had 2 carp in less than 3 hours from casting out. No prebaiting whatsoever, just small mesh bags of broken baits.

It has already caught very big barbel from several low stock rivers.

On the river we tend to very lightly prebait it a couple of times before fishing. I did exactly that on a ‘new' river (I hadn't fished it for 20 years) recently and had a biggish chub on the very first trip; despite it being low stock and quite hard fished.

I just think they are too expensive to sell enough despite claims.

We all want cheaper bait and lets face it loads of barbel get caught on pellets or fishmeal esque boilies so to me this falls into a smaller niche market aka the frost and flood Baker type baits.
Be interesting to see how they fare commercially.
