There seems to be plenty of posts and praise regarding the 12 ft Aircurves, but hardly anything about the 10ft version. Any users out there that have anything good or bad to say about the 10 footers ?

I'm also wondering this as the 10fts were discontinued fairly quickly it made me wonder. I just bought a pair of 3lb 10” and wouldn't mind hearing any feedback on them so I can cancel ahead of time if there's any issues with them. By all accounts the 12s seem like great rods so hoping the 10s in lighter test will be ok

Little update since owning mine now for a few weeks. Firstly they're discontinued and a nightmare to get hold of. I bought 2 and had to find a shop in Holland to send the third over. Stunning rods, really light lovely action to them. Mine are 3lb test and my only concern was being severely limited on max range but this just isn't an issue. I've coupled them with Okuma Inc 6000 reels which aren't the longest casting reels but with syncro xt in 15lb and a 2oz lead I cast to a show the other day at around 85-90yds no trouble. I've since stepped down to 12lb xt and it's a nicer balance overall. Couldn't be happier and as a 10ft kit I'm not sure I'll find a better setup.

I've got 4 of the MK2s in 12ft 3.5s and they are simply brilliant rods, and a joy to use. They always cast super accurately and to the moon if I do my bit right!
After reading your post and dwelling on it over the weekend, I'm now also the owner of a set in 10ft 3.0, as I managed to find a new set in the UK.
I regularly fish a small "farm pond" and these will be ideal for that, as it's not very big and bank access space is extremely tight. I've caught them to over 30lb from there, so that should be fun on a small light rod setup.
Which handle option did you go for? I've got them in the abbreviated just like my 12s. Will pair them with a borrowed pair of 6000RA x aero baitrunners from my Barbel/River setup.

I have not had a chance to use them yet, but I'm looking forward to be putting them through their paces. My only initial gripe is with the 50 mm ringing that sems excessive but that sadly seems to be the norm on most rods(even 10 ft) nowadays.
i´ll be pairing them with some Fox fx9´s and using them on some fairly weedy and overgrown pits so I'm excited to see how they perform once the season progresses.

I bought some on a whim. Ended up sending them back because the massive rings were stupid. Real shame as the blank felt lovely.

I got the FJS handles, still love them. I have to agree with the last post my only problem is that butt ring should have been a 40 but not enough to put
Me off the rods. I'm looking at a 12ft kit now, been looking at free spirit and century and spending a small fortune but I have every suspicion I'll just end up getting more aircurves in the 12, 3.25

Been enjoying mine, the rings didn't bother me much...
I ended up putting a set of Shimano 5500 Ultegra xtc ci4+ on the them, super lightweight and great to use.
Banked a few 20's already, and haven't used my 12ft's since!
