I'm looking at purchasing a Nash Emperor bedchair. More recently myself and the wife have been fishing overnight sessions together and are looking at an upgrade on my Sonik SK-Tek to sleep on together. Something comfortable, warm and wide enough for two of us.
Does anyone have any long or short term reviews on this bed? It's a lot of money to pay out but something that I definitely want to invest in.
Happy to look at alternatives also.

If my single Nash MF60 is anything to go by, one of the negatives would probably be the need for a fork lift license.

Just throwing this out there, not what your asking, and I've no idea re your set up, ie if you store stuff under the bed, but have you thought about a larger self inflating mattress with or without base to go on. Worth having a look at your options if so, they're very comfy and have a great tog rating from below re cold. There are inflatable bases now for sims which are semi leveling and you can get double flat camp beds to put them on (in the sales now).
Personally my wife has the Vango Shangri La 15 single, it's unbelievably comfy, though having slept on it a bit I can't see a need for the 20cm version unless you like your bed stupidly soft.
We're thinking of going this route for week sessions, as even when we book a place with accommodation she likes to sleep out if warm enough...doh!

We use a tempest 100t for all of our sessions. I have briefly looked at this option but really want to stay on the traditional bedchair route if possible. We don't take a huge amount of things and once setup, I do like to put all things under the bedchair apart from a small table with my rig box and baiting accessories on.
As for the weight, I am aware that these are heavier than most other bedchairs. To me that isn't really an issue as I tend to travel fairly light for most sessions and am lucky enough to have good access to most swims on my club lakes just a short push from my truck.
Space is not an issue either when it comes to travel to/from the complex as I have a Ford Ranger truck with a full cab on the back.
I'm interested to know it's comfort, support, size and overall use ability

I could be wrong here but with a bedchair, regardless of width, will it not just sink in the middle and you'll end up right next to each other in the middle regardless

Quick recipe for divorce IMO . . . the emperor is wide but unless you're both under 10 stone I'm not sure its designed for two and will def sag like all Nash bedchairs!
I slept on one of these over Xmas (staying at friends - its was actually two of them linked together with clips) and it was very impressive - at 3.8kg I'm surprised the Carp firms haven't released something similar / Carp taxed it already; does rely on a relatively flat surface however . . .

I've got a Nash Emperor Bedchair and purely bought it too go to France too fish in comfort.
Honestly I don't like it, it's way too big and dosent seem like you utilise the whole bed as you sink in the middle, there's certainly not enough room for 2 people.
Mine will be going up for sale soon as it's just taking up room in the garage.
