I'm looking for liquid kelp but I'm not sure I should be using the "Kelp Liquid Fertiliser" types.
Can anyone advise me on this please and max inclusion levels per kg?
Looking at horse shops etc, they all read like organic fertilizer for grass. Not found a liquid that can be fed to a horse (that is in liquid form).
A Ken Townley article re Natural Extracts triggered my interest on the Haits site.

Google Liquid kelp for humans. Plenty of health food places out there selling it. To be honest I wouldn't of thought the stuff sold as an animal feed supplement would be fine.

You can buy granulated kelp and rehydrate it with whatever you want.

I was hoping to get what KT mentions in this article and was also mentioned by Frank Warwick in his book.
A thick molasses type of liquid. Makes a darker bait too.

In reply to post #2 I can't find the stuff where it states it can be fed to horses/animals. If it is human grade is going to be more expensive.
I found 1 where it was 100% organic but still sold as a fertilizer.
Might look into re-hydrating. But I can just as well just add it into my basemix.

Sorry my bad, meant to say as a fertiliser. Not as an animal feed.. if the stuff is 100% organic. Go for it.

I think you will find that it is made from the Kelp drying process , product which has more than one use ,one of which is to be sprayed on grass land as a conditioner ,to aid the with plant health and vitality .
It is quite possibly exactly the same product as was sold in the past by a certain company as liquid Kelp ,and so could be the same as Ken used .
