Can anyone thays owned both tell me the difference please and is the difference worth the price difference. currently using nevs as my txi-d went tits up and I'm not prepared to give delkim another penny and buy the txid v2.
Nothing wrong with my nevs but eyeing up a change.
What's the difference between the mxnand the rx+, any advice would be greatly appreciated

I've had both in the past the RX+ has the different drop back tone which the MX alarms don't . RX+ has more sensitivity settings and LED night nights which the MX doesn't have either . Also bare in mind the MX alarms are plastic welded together so if they go wrong after warranty period your knackered where as the RX+ can be unscrewed

I have a set of both. Now, I really like the rx +, but speaking honestly, the mx do 90% of what the rx does for much less money. OK, no secondary led, or drop back differentiation and less sensitivity adjustment but they have 2 level sensitivity and changeable led. Receiver is basic - no light or vibrate- but works well and has good distance.
Unless you really want or need the top of the range, I'd say the mx are very good value for money.

I noticed on my Mx+ alarms the hard case covers scratch my alarms. Does this also happen with the RX+'s? I would hate that and I would use custom alarm pouches when I buy them in a few weeks. I like the delkim hard cases that are made from rubber better for that.

Good to read that you don' t have this issue. I hope your not the only one with good fitting hard cases. Have you had the alarms long?

Only about 12months. I'm not sure how it compares to the MXs, but the RX+ covers locate loosely over the ears first, and then clip tight around the 3/8th bankstick thread to hold them on.

The mx+'s have the same way of connecting, by the looks of it then. Maybe mine are just poor fitting.

Could any dirt be getting into the hard case or splashing on the side of the alarm to cause the scratching?
I've just sold my RX+ after many years use, no scratches at all on them.
You could always try teasing the side of the cases out by using boiling, might work, though I think it'll be thermo set plastic.
