My lads currently fishing with a Bushwhacker and he's got 2 sections stuck together. He's the only person on the lake, any ideas how to separate them? He won't have any tools with him.

Try cooling them off in the water.

Being very careful a few short sharp taps around the joint should do it. You could also try some warm/hot water on the outer tube.You can buy lube for pole joints, or used to be able to, worth a mention.

Thanks lads, he's sorted it.

Get a smal tarp longer than the sections peg it out and lay the sections on it. When not in use fold the tarp back over the sections and peg it down. Stops mud and gritt getting on the sections when raining. Plus when shipping back your not pushing them into the ground.
