Plastic and foam is banned on my syndicate, for zigs has anyone used any baits in a similar shape to cylinders of foam? Any that fit into the Zig Alina's grips?
Not tried it but what about something like Prober Job tippers (barrels) 7/8mm diameter really really buoyant I would imagine they would fit in the zig tool and zig aligna band, only limitation is choice of colours

DNA do those candy sticks. Not sure if they fit in aligner though?

If you use the Nash version of the zig aligner it has a screw rather than a band. You can then use any size/shape buoyant pop up. I use the PJP barrels

Proper Job Pop Ups are the only commercially available pop up that I've tried that I'd trust have enough buoyancy for a zig. They do a black range and also have 'tips' which may fit straight in to a zig aligner

Fox used to do a coring tool that you used to bore out the centre of a boilie and that came out as a cylinder.
I'm sure others do them now
If not you could go old school radio aerial as a tool

Tails up bait do a small barrel type pop up unflavoured and in various colours. Black being one of them. ZIGZ I think there called. Same food bait make up as there CORNZ imitation corn baits. Well worth a look.
