Hi anyone recommend a decent mat that when travelling light l could use to Carry a couple of 10ft rods and landing net in.

You want a multi mat type of mat
Loads available just take ya pick


I use a Nash one but the one I have is no longer available.

What you need to.do. is. Get yourself a JRC Euro matt weighsling. At one time I was getting everything I needed for a days fishing in that matt. Its like a huge carryall which I just slung over my shoulder.

Thanks for the replies will have a look at the moment l've using a thinking anglers which is way to big if not taking the barrow, so don't want something to big someone suggested the fox easy mat,it's just for short sessions so want to travel light just a rucksack a mat to sling a couple of 10ft rods and landing net in and the other hand for my chair which l can't manage without now with getting older with bad knees

Probably better just getting a small barrow or trolley like the match man seaanglers use

If you're taking a ruck sack have a think about the rucksack chair combos, they'd save you carrying a separate chair, free up a hand.
