They've gone very quiet on FB.
There's still a large amount of people awaiting their orders according to the barrow conversions FB page.

Are there any shows coming up they might be prepping for by any chance?
Not much help but them being quiet is fairly normal re comms, I'm sure I read on here a few weeks back someone had just received their conversion, BCUK waiting for batteries apparently.
Maybe trying to catch up with a backlog.

If you look at the FB page ‘Carp fishing barrow conversions and conversion insight', you'll find BCUK are a total joke of a company, keeping peoples money for months on end with zero communication. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

look up South Coast Custom Barrow Conversions on instagram - not used them personally but they look to be taking conversions to the next level....

Global appear to have closed business as well. Website is down and nothing on FB since April 2024. Many comments very similar to BCUK, nobody answers phones, no response to mails, People cancelling orders and taking action to retrieve money through banks.

I agree the communication at Global has become a joke too.
In all honestly I would trust none of these conversions companies, if your savvy enough (there's enough threads online) I'd just buy off Ali express or Amazon and do it yourself to save a couple of hundred quid and the hassle of chasing companies for your product.

That's probably why these so called businesses are not lasting, no ip to protect.
Heard very negative feedback about bcuk, but good feedback on the other company, south coast conversions..

just out of interest as I had never heard of south coast conversions ??
I googled it NO RESULTS AT ALL ??
ALSO THE WHEELS used by the conversion company's are pretty much the same however
its a FACT the main ring gear in the Global one is metal unlike BCUK that is plastic
and all the Aliexpress etc ones with wildly different prices internally are not the same either
they all just say 350watt 24v ( the most popular power size )
but to be fair I have not heard of a motor failing yet but the conversion companys have to make sure the motors they supply are robust and good quality as they have to give a 12 months warrantee

The Global angling site appears to be back up. Nobody answering the phone though, site says there awaiting motors so no energize kits available now.
