Afternoon fellas,not been on these groups for a long time,so long I tried to get on RMC/cemex group and couldn't find it🫣.Don't usually make these post but I'm after a new brolly system.Got a budget of £250 ,I have ripped my titan hide which has served me superbly but the years are catching up with me,it was too low and I'm getting too old for crouching on my bedchair .Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Many thanks

Titan hide xl, great for height, stability and roomy. £250 might be a no though

Solar undercover brolly system gets good reviews on here and 150cm high - just over £200 so within budget as well

Tempest 100T brolly - then add the front infill when you can afford

Definitely the best option IMHO.
I bought a mint s/h tempest 100t with front and HD groundsheet for 160.
I have added the skull cap from my 100 and its ace

Solar Undercover Brolly system is great. The only thing it is missing is a fully mozzy front

I've had the Solar undercover system since it was first released. Excellent bit of kit and is my preferred setup, I only take something bigger if one of the kids is with me or it's a long winter session.

Another vote for the Solar brolly. Prefer it to the 100T and Ultralite and half the price. You can't beat a proper brolly for time and weight.

Agree it's a shame they don't do a mozzy front, but I just bought a universal and throw it over.

I wish it didn't have solid panels either side of the door
I don't like not being able to see outside while laying down..I want to see my rods at least.

I don't use the infill, you can see everything that way.

I would just get Army andy to put two clear panels in it
I had the front mesh panels on a Tempest bivvy replaced with clear plastic by him so when its peeing down I could see out I never use a door its always removed or rolled up

I really like my hide xl, plenty of room inside but the design of the low door means you have to stoop to get in and out, so I'd also say go for the 100t

Only time I zip the front on is if the rain is blowing in.
