Sadly the rugby league legend has passed away following a long and publicised fight with the degenerative MND which destroyed the man, truly heartbreaking to watch. I had a tear in my eye many a time watching him, always positive and with a smile on his face. Gone too young sadly. RIP

Yes very sad Scozza, sad for his family and all who knew him, or those who know what this dreadful disease does to someone, a close neighbour of mine has it and it is terrible to see the long slow decline of a lively vibrant kind man, he luckily has a great family and friends around him as Rob Burrow did, RIP

It was a very sad read, I feel for him and his family.
Hopefully his status will raise awareness of that aweful disease.

Terrible to see mate, especially for a prolific sportsman, and an athelte. Truly heartbreaking story and feel for his family. Great tribute at Headingly which is testament to the man's popularity. An inspiration for all in such a tragic time, as mentioned, a real hero ✊
